Branson, Missouri –White River Connect, a subsidiary of White River Valley Electric Cooperative, announced today that its high-speed internet service is now available for those living in the Kimberling City service area.

"Our goal is to strengthen the connections in Kimberling City while ensuring everyone has the tools to succeed in a digital world,” said White River Connect CEO Beau Jackson. “White River Connect’s growth into the Kimberling City area is about bringing fiber internet to this community.  We’re helping neighbors stay connected, providing students with access to better learning opportunities, and helping local businesses thrive."

Construction began on White River Connect in June of 2023 to provide high-speed internet to rural areas of Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, and Taney Counties. In March of 2024, White River Connect began serving its first customers.  White River Connect is currently available in the Branson, Bear Creek, Sweden, Rockaway, Gretna, Goodhope, Compton Ridge, Taneyville, Protem, Theodosia, Wasola, Lake, Bluewater, Stonebridge, Riverdale, Silver Dollar City, and Stultz service areas. When completed, the project will cover over 4,200 miles of fiber lines.
