Forsyth Family is White River Connect’s 1,000th Customer
Branson, Missouri –White River Connect installed its 1,000th customer on Friday, September 13. Juston Gates from Forsyth, Missouri marked the 1000th installation for the new fiber internet company. To celebrate the milestone, Mr. Gates received a 65” TV and was cheered on by several White River Connect employees.
Mr. Gates said, “I couldn’t help but smile when the White River Connect installer left (today) because we have needed this service for 12 years and we finally have it!”
Construction began on White River Connect in June of 2023 to provide high-speed internet to rural areas of Christian, Douglas, Ozark, Stone, and Taney Counties. In March of 2024, White River Connect began serving its first customers and currently provides high-speed internet to areas of Branson, Goodhope, Rockaway, Sweden, and Bear Creek. It is expected to take four years to complete and will cover over 4,200 miles of fiber.
“White River Connect is connecting underserved rural communities to high-speed internet. We hope to provide new growth opportunities for our neighbors and cannot wait to see how they will use our fiber internet to connect with others”, said Beau Jackson, chief executive officer of White River Connect.
